Mission
Tall Grass Arts Association School provides quality art classes for all age groups and experience levels.

Featuring
Everyone is born to be creative! It's never too late to tap into your creative spirit. Art classes are offered year round for all ages and all levels. Tall Grass Arts Association Art School is committed to offering a variety of classes, allowing the individual to develop at his or her own pace. Student exhibitions are held at the end of each session--a great way to see what else is happening and where else you might want to use your creativity. Check our web site for current class catalog.

Tall Grass Arts Association School provides quality art classes for all age groups and experience levels. The assumption underlying programming is that all individuals are creative and need appropriate outlets to express that creativity.

Classes are offered at the Tall Grass Arts Association School for all age groups in a variety of media including drawing, watercolor, acrylic and oil painting, clay, textile arts and much more. Some classes are divided by age but others strive to encourage creative interaction between groups of various ages. A new series of classes called Tag-Team Art will encourage art as a family endeavor with two or more members from a family taking a class to produce collaborative art projects. These are meant to encourage bonding around a common interest in art.

Schools are encouraged to contact our Education Director to arrange one day “Art in Action” programs that bring professional artists to a school for a day of demonstrations and hands-on activities, or to arrange on-going in school programs tailored to their needs.

Volunteer Opportunities
TGAA School seeks volunteers for a variety of activities including the annual children’s art contest run in conjunction with the TGAA Art Fair in September each year. The TGAA Gallery also seek volunteers to support the exhiibitions and special programs.

Professional Opportunities
TGAA School seeks students who would benefit from an internship with the school. These students could be in arts programs or business management programs especially students interested in experience with managing a non-for-profit organization.
